Words of Hope
Nyamitanga Mbarara Uganda is home to approximately 30.9 million people. The infant mortality rate is 86/1000 and with an adult life expectancy of about 43 years old. These numbers are largely affected by HIV and AIDS as well as poverty. The poverty and underdevelopement that exists today is due to chronic political instability and eratic economic management. Following is a story from Pastor Encoh Kategaya:
Words of Hope is also providing the people of Uganda with a water well system that will provide them with clean and healthy water to drink and bathe with. More on this story:
I am so impressed by compassion and love that is evident in the ministry of Words of Hope. Reading the testimoni
als of how this country is coming to know God through the vision and outreach of those who have a passion for Christ, entices me to want to go and experience this in person. Mrs. R.M. has accepted Christ through the outpouring love of these missionaries and Pastor Encoh. She is now 62 years old and living with AIDS. Her husband passed away when she was 56. She has 10 children that she must provide for. Words of Hope has not only shown her Gods love and promises but has given her a phsyical hope by educating her on mushroom farming for profit. She is able to send her son to college and pay for it. Mrs. R.M. now has sense of confidence and freedom, but more imortantly, hope.

Words of Hope was birthed from the Ineternational Mission Board with the help of Christopher Bosson and led by Pastor Enoch Kategaya. To assist with the water well project, the mission of Words of Hope, or to become a vital part of this ministry you may go to there web site at either of the above links to get more information. Prayer is always needed for any mission. Prayer alone will not get the work done. Matthew 28:19a, "Therefore, go and make desciples of all nations". People are needed to go to the mission field. People are also needed to help fund the missions. However you are able, if you feel called to help please do. May God bless you and may God bless America.
