The War Goes On...
As we live our lives back home the war goes on. As we lay our heads down on a soft and comfortable pillow every night, there are soldiers fighting a war. As we run about our busy lives from errand to errand, our soldiers are fighting for our freedom. As we enjoy our delicious home cooked meals our soldiers are eating less than desirable meals. While we are concerned with the next television show that comes on our soldiers are concerned with the next I.E.D that is headed their way. While we get so busy that we forget to even seek God's face at times for our own praise and worship, our soldiers' lives depend on the prayers of everyone of us for their protection and safety. Whether you agree with this war or not, our soldiers deserve the support of this nation. They deserve the support of their commander in chief! They deserve the support of more troops if that is what is needed. Our soldiers deserve the availability of funding when necessary, not to be turned down because we have a reckless government. Our soldiers deserve a commander in chief who will be more concerned in meeting with the General overseeing the war than in trying to get the next Olympics to his home town. Our troops deserve the highest and utmost attention and honor from their commander in chief, not a side-tracked man more interested in Hollywood fame and talk show appearances. Our troops deserve the very best. Our troops deserve to know that each and everyone one of us are backing them up 100%. Thank a soldier today. Thank their family. Thank their children. While we live in luxury they do not. This war goes on. John 15:13 "Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his own life for his brother". God bless our soldiers and their families for the sacrifices they endure everyday. God bless America.
